Evelyn Winston-Dadzie, PhD


Dr. Evelyn Winston-Dadzie received her Ph.D. from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, in Business Administration where she concentrated in Management. Her Masters of Art is from The Ohio State University in Public Administration. Professor Winston-Dadzie’s Bachelors of Art is in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University (NCCU) where she graduated summa cum laude.

Dr. Winston-Dadzie’s work experience consists of corporate experience with International Business Machines (IBM) in Human Resource Management. While working with IBM, she worked as a Personnel Assistant, Relocation Benefits Administrator and Training and Development Specialist. Dr. Winston-Dadzie also has corporate work experience with Glaxo/Burroughs Welcome as a Marketing Research Intern.

Professor Winston-Dadzie has teaching experience with NCCU, Morehouse College, Southern Polytechnic University and approximately 16 years of teaching experience at Clark Atlanta University (CAU). She is a full professor of Management in the Department of Management and Marketing as a at CAU. Her research interest is in emerging markets and organizational culture. Dr. Winston-Dadzie has published in Management Decisions, the Journal of African Business, the Journal of Business and Logistics, the International Journal of Distribution and Logistics Management and the Journal of Public Policy and Marketing. She has made presentations and has conference proceedings with The Academy of Management, the American Marketing Association and the International Academy of African Business Development.

She has received several honors and awards which include being a member of Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society while attending NCCU, receipt of Minority Fellowships at The Ohio State University and Duke University and she was recently inducted into the CAU chapter of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Professor Winston-Dadzie has been a panelist for the Ph.D. project and has received several best paper awards.

She is married to Kofi Dadzie and has one daughter, Charlene.
